On April 23, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the National Innovation Center to organize a forum on building a local digital economy on the basis of a high-tech supply chain.

In his opening speech at the forum, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong emphasized: Since the re-establishment of the province, Vinh Phuc has always been one of the dynamic, innovative, creative localities with many favorable conditions for developing the digital economy.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee has issued an Action Program to implement Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo and Resolution No. 03 of the Government on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
The Provincial People's Committee has issued a Plan to implement the Action Program focusing on three main pillars: digital government, digital economy, digital society and achieved many remarkable results.
In order for the digital economy to truly become a driving force for economic growth, in the coming time, the province will focus on building a synchronous, safe and seamless digital data platform from the provincial to the communal level, connecting with the national system.
Innovating the growth model based on high technology, modern logistics and global value chains, aiming at digital exports and value-added services; developing modern digital infrastructure, especially telecommunications infrastructure, cloud computing platforms, local data centers; Promote training and attract digital human resources - technology engineers, data experts, AI technicians, etc. through cooperation with universities, research institutes, and large enterprises.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong hopes that the forum will receive many practical contributions on specific solutions and strategic cooperation proposals so that the province can shape a digital economic model suitable to local conditions and develop sustainably in the context of global integration.
The province is committed to creating a transparent and friendly investment environment, accompanying businesses. At the same time, it will prioritize resources for digital transformation, developing technology infrastructure and logistics; ready to connect and cooperate extensively with localities, international organizations, and prestigious technology corporations at home and abroad.
At the forum, experts, managers, and leaders of departments, branches, and sectors focused on discussing solutions for applying high technology in building supply chains; innovation - the driving force for Vinh Phuc's development in the digital age; digital transformation of the supply chain - strategy and vision for the high-tech manufacturing industry in Vietnam; from smart factories to local logistics centers through virtual reality dual technology; human resource development to serve the development of the digital economy and strategic technology.

Next, at the seminar with the theme "Innovation for a sustainable digital economy", experts, managers, and businesses shared typical models, ideas, and innovative solutions, thereby promoting innovative thinking in the process of building and developing the digital economy in a sustainable and comprehensive direction.
At the same time, propose mechanisms and policies to create a legal framework to promote innovation, especially in the field of digital economy, contributing to the formation of a national and local innovation ecosystem.
Also at the forum, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Kami Manufacturing Technology Joint Stock Company; Vinh Phuc Center for Application and Innovation; Trong Hieu Service and Environment Company Limited; CNCTech Joint Stock Company; Vinh Phuc Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company; Vinh Phuc College of Engineering and Technology.
This is a strategic activity, laying the foundation for a specific, long-term cooperation process in law, technology and local digital economic development activities associated with the high-tech supply chain.
At the same time, the parties expressed their commitment to join hands to promote comprehensive digital transformation, build digital infrastructure, and improve technological capacity. Vinh Phuc province affirms its pioneering role, accompanying the whole country in the national digital transformation strategy.
