According to the vote of the Travel and Leisure Magazine (the United States), Hanoi ranked sixth on the list of top ten attractive Asian cities. 82.09 per cent of vote was for Hanoi.
The ancient Hanoi was built since 1010 under the reign of King Ly Cong Uan. The modern Hanoi still has many ancient traits in their daily activities, architecture and culture. Apart from 36 streets in the ancient residential quarter, Hanoi also has a lot of ancient architectural works as well as unique cultural rituals, which are very attractive to visitors.
