The third international trade fair and conference on the auto industry and supporting industries (Vietnam AutoExpo 2007) will open in Hanoi on August 21-25, highlighting a new face of the country’s fledging automotive industry.
The five-day event will showcase various kinds of vehicles including sedans, buses, trucks, special vehicles for construction transportation, mining, healthcare, sanitation and military purposes, and motorcycles, organizers said at an AutoExpo introductory ceremony in Hanoi recently.
The fair will also display components, materials, technologies and machinery for the vehicle manufacturing industry.
Vinacomin Group will bring in various models of medium and heavy Kmaz, Kraz and Scania trucks with loads ranging from seven tons to 35 tons.
Truong Hai Auto will introduce trucks, buses, and Kia multipurpose vehicles. Emerging Vinaxuki will have many vehicles of high quality and competitive price.
In addition, Hoang Tra Motor, EMC, Transimexco and Hanamotor have also registered for the fair.
Besides, the event also hosts conferences on the development of Vietnam’s auto industry and business concerns for the auto industry.
The event received registrations from Japanese, South Korean, Chinese, Russian, Taiwanese, Malaysian, Singaporean and Indian firms like GS, FAG, SKF, Denso, Bosch, 3M, Bridgestone, Yokohama and GooodYear.
The AutoExpo will take place at Giang Vo Exhibition and Trade Fair Centre.
