Long An has many interesting tourist sites. The one-day tour to cultural sites and Dong Thap Muoi Centre is being organised by Long An Tourism Joint Stock Company as a key tour of the locality to attract tourists.
The first site tourists visited when coming to Tan An Town was Long An Museum located in Ward 4 right at the central of the town. The museum displays hundreds of valuable artistic antiques. Many exhibits had been excavated dated from Oc Eo Time. Notably, tourists enjoyed the Statue of Goddess of Mercy with thousands of eyes and arms. The statue which is a unique work carved by local sculptors is the real image of the original statue in But Thap Pagoda. Artists from the Huynh Family were said to be the sculptors of the statue. The Family was very famous for sculptures in Long An at the time.
The next site was Nguyen Huynh Duc Tomb Complex, one of the oldest tombs in Long An that still exists today. The tomb complex was built in early years of the Nguyen Dynasty (around 817), including gates, tombs, and Temple to Kien Xuong Duke Nguyen Huynh Duc, a meritorious Nguyen Dynasty founder. In 1993, the Ministry of Culture and Information recognised the tomb complex as a national relic.
The most attractive destination in Long An is Dong Thap Muoi Pharmaceutical Preservation and Research Center in Binh Phong Thanh Commune in Moc Hoa District.
