Vietnam Customs Collect US$5.1B Taxes in Jan-Sept

Vietnam’s customs authorities collected a total of VND91 trillion (US$5.1 billion) in the first nine months of this year, representing 75.5% of the sector’s full-year target, according to the General Department of Customs.
 
Of the sum, VND47 trillion came from import-export duties and special consumption taxes, meeting 84% of the year’s target, said the department.
 
The collection of value added taxes stood around VND44 trillion, accounting for 68% the sector’s full-year target. (Labor)
