Vietnam’s commercial electricity consumption output reached 55 billion kWh in the first nine months of this year, up 10.91% from a year earlier, the Communist Party said.
Up to 26.955 billion kWh, or 49.14% of the volume was provided for the country’s industry and construction sectors, up 8.5% from last year.
Between Jan and Sept, the state-run Electricity of Vietnam Group (EVN) produced 42.2 billion kWh of power and purchased 17 billion kWh from local and foreign power plants, up 5.8% and 27.6% from a year earlier, respectively. (
