Vietnam PM Visits Chinese Province to Boost Economic Ties

Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has arrived in Nanjing for an official visit to the Chinese coastal province of Jiangsu to boost economic ties.
 
The government leader is scheduled to meet provincial leaders and witnessed the signing of economic, investment and tourism deals between Vietnamese localities and Jiangsu on April 27.
 
Trade between Vietnamese localities and Jiangsu has soared in recent years to reach US$2.21 billion last year.
 
Vietnamese localities mainly export apparel products, unprocessed rubber and coal, while importing steel, digital device and industrial spare parts from Jiangsu.
 
PM Dung will also visit Shanghai city to attend World Expo 2010 and Zhejiang province.
 
Chinese leaders are not scheduled to receive him in Beijing. (Trade & Industry)
