Authorities of Vietnam’s capital of Hanoi will open an annual trade promotion program on October 30, aiming to boost the city’s consumption and commercial services development.
During the event, a wide range of goods including foodstuff, apparel, beverage, electronics, handicrafts and mechanical products will be discounted at 1,000 locations, the Vietnamese Government said on website May 30.
The annual program, which had revenues of VND800 billion last year, is expected to draw between 350 and 500 enterprises. (Thoi bao kinh te May 31 p2, www.chinhphu.vn May 30)
