New Zealand PM Visits Ho Chi Minh City

New Zealand Prime Minister John Key arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on 29 October 2010 to kick start a series of high-profile events for the upcoming Rugby World Cup 2011, highlighting its business significance on and off the field for South East Asian companies.

Prime Minister Key’s visit includes meetings with government and business leaders, and presence at a special Rugby World Cup 2011 luncheon. Organised by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), the luncheon serves to showcase New Zealand’s rugby traditions, spectacular scenery, culture and sustainable practices.

On the same day Prime Minister John Key witnessed the signing of a letter of intent between New Zealand company Pacific Aerospace and Samcom for the purchase of two P-750 XSTOL aircraft. He highlighted strong aviation ties between New Zealand and Vietnam.
