Mekong Delta Trade - Tourism - Investment Fair Opens in An Giang

The People’s Committee of An Giang province collaborated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organise the Mekong Delta Trade - Tourism - Investment Fair 2011 in Xuan To Industrial Park, Tinh Bien International Border Gate, An Giang Province on May 26- 31, 2011.

 

The event introduces agricultural products, consumer goods, foods, household goods, and other goods, and advertises local tourism. Exhibitors showcased their products and services on more than 550 booths, of which foreign companies occupied 15 percent. Metro Cash & Carry Vietnam - the largest foreign distributor in An Giang province attends the fair.

 

The fair helped unlock potentials in the East - West Economic Corridor, quicken the development of the Mekong Delta economic zone constituted by Can Tho City, An Giang, Kien Giang and Ca Mau provinces, and boosted trade ties between the Mekong Delta and Cambodia.
