The Department of Planning and Investment of Long An province said the southern province licensed 30 fresh foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with a total registered capital of US$143 million in the year to September 10, up 4.6 per cent in project and down 15 per cent in value over the same period in 2012.
To date, the province has 472 FDI projects valued over US$3 billion, of which 264 projects worth US$1.65 billion have gone into operation.
