To build a green, environmentally friendly industrial park, right from the design and construction stages, Vina CPK Joint Stock Company (the investor of Ba Thien II Industrial Park) paid special attention to environmental protection and its internal appearance and landscape. At present, Ba Thien II has become an exemplary industrial zone of Vinh Phuc province by landscape and environment.
Ba Thien II Industrial Park aims to improve the infrastructure to make it an environmentally friendly green industrial park and provide maximum support for customers and investors
Lying on 308 ha in Thien Ke town, Ba Hien and Trung My communes (Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province), Ba Thien II Industrial Park has well-designed communication systems, tree spaces and lighting systems. Vina CPK used more than 11% of the land area for 15,000 trees, lawns, water surface and road construction. At the same time, the company spent a lot on wastewater, solid waste, dust and pollution treatment systems, and fire prevention systems according to international standards. Currently, Ba Thien II Industrial Park has a Grade A wastewater treatment system with a total designed daily capacity of 10,000 cubic meters, surveillance camera system at dumpsites, power meters and automatic environment monitoring systems.
Besides, Vina CPK always actively calls for secondary investors to follow environmental protection and green industry development. To ensure hygiene and collect waste in Ba Thien II Industrial Park, Vina CPK established an environmental team and installed more than 50 trash cans around the industrial park, which is considered a model industrial zone in Vinh Phuc province by the environmental landscape. Moreover, Vina CPK effectively monitors, promptly detects and reports environmental violations to competent authorities for inspection and settlement by law, thus helping raise the awareness and responsibility of tenants about environmental protection. Up to now, all tenants in Ba Thien II Industrial Park have signed waste collection and treatment with environmental companies. Only 80% of the land is used for factory construction while the rest is for planting trees and lawns.
A representative of Vina CPK Joint Stock Company said, with environmental protection as the core for development, Ba Thien II Industrial Park has achieved positive investment attraction results. Currently, the park has attracted 67 projects which fully hired rentable land in all three phases. Tenants, which are largely engaged in mechanical engineering, electronics, garment production, employ more than 20,000 workers.
Determining that the green industry is a vital development trend and a competitive advantage to attract investors, in the coming time, Vina CPK will coordinate with authorities at all levels to speed up land compensation and site clearance of the remaining 50 ha in Ba Thien II Industrial Park to further improve the infrastructure to make it an environmentally friendly green industrial park, constantly enhance its service quality and provide maximum support for customers and investors.
At the same time, the company will selectively attract investors. In particular, priority is given to attracting investment projects in light industries, electronics and high-tech industries with guaranteed environmental safety standards.
