Success in investment attraction

At the conference, Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Diep highlighted the province’s strengths and potential while featuring closer cooperation between Vietnam and Middle Eastern countries, including the UAE. He confidently said that the event will open up numerous opportunities for investment cooperation and further boost economic and trade relations between Vinh Phuc and partners in the region.

Mr. Bui Huy Vinh stressed that Vinh Phuc is not only strategically located with synchronized infrastructure but also known for its open and investor-friendly policies for international businesses.

As an attractive destination for investors, Vinh Phuc province is currently accommodating more than 475 FDI projects from 20 countries and territories, with a total registered capital of over US$8.4 billion. Mr. Bui Huy Vinh reaffirmed the province is strongly committed to supporting businesses, especially those from the Middle East, to feel assured in their investment and long-term development in the province.

With the motto “Every investor in Vinh Phuc is a citizen of Vinh Phuc - the success of businesses is the success of the province,” the provincial leadership aims to build an open, transparent and sustainable investment environment for partners.

The province’s key sectors such as manufacturing, processing, tourism and high-tech agriculture represent competitive advantages and offer promising cooperation opportunities for investors.

UAE businesses keen on supporting industries

UAE businesses expressed strong interest in supporting industries, renewable energy, real estate, tourism, services and other sectors in Vinh Phuc province. This indicates that UAE investors have conducted thorough market research on the province, especially given the successful presence of major industrial investors like Honda, Toyota and Piaggio. Current satellite companies and supporting industrial manufacturers have provided significant competitive advantages to the province. In addition, the province’s investment incentives like friendly policies on tax, land and site support and programs to develop high-quality human resources have caught the interest of investors.

The conference is a strategic move by Vinh Phuc province to expand international cooperation, particularly with partners from the Middle East where there is strong investment potential and high demand for infrastructure, industrial and tourism infrastructure, he noted.

As the largest financial center in the Middle East, Dubai is seen as an ideal destination for international businesses seeking to tap new markets. This investment promotion event is both a chance for Vinh Phuc to attract more capital and an opportunity to elevate the province’s profile on the global investment map, especially in the Middle East.

During this visit, Vinh Phuc officials also held a working session with representatives from the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), one of the world’s leading free trade zones. They focused on potential cooperation in logistics, service trade, industrial investment, smart city development, digital transformation and innovation, among other fields.

DMCC, currently gathering over 24,000 businesses from 180 countries, holds a leading global position across a range of sectors such as gold, diamonds, steel, agricultural commodities (tea and coffee), digital economy and virtual assets.

DMCC representatives expressed high regard for Vinh Phuc’s investment environment and proposed establishing a regular cooperation channel to support businesses from both sides in enhancing trade, connectivity and investment.
