As part of ongoing investment promotion activities in Taiwan, the Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion and Business Support Center and the Taiwan Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) recently held an important working session, marking a new milestone in developing high-tech industrial parks in Vinh Phuc province.

CNCTech and ITRI strengthen cooperation to develop high-tech industrial parks in Vietnam
ITRI is a pioneer in Taiwan's successful technology transfer model, with a history of over 50 years of development. It has served as the cradle for most of Taiwan's breakthrough technologies before their transfer to production and commercialization. Many leading technology companies have their roots in ITRI, including TSMC (the world’s top chip manufacturer) and Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS). Additionally, many leaders of major Taiwanese tech firms, such as Mr. Frank Kuo, co-founder of Accton Technology Group, began their careers at ITRI. This highlights the institute’s role in driving technological advancement and cultivating talent in Taiwan’s innovation ecosystem.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing a comprehensive cooperation strategy to develop high-tech industrial parks in Vietnam, particularly in Vinh Phuc province with three main pillars namely planning infrastructure to meet modern international standards, formulating attractive investment incentive policies, and developing high-quality human resources - essential factors for the success of the new-generation industrial park model.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Director of the Provincial Investment Promotion and Business Support Center Tran Quang Ngoc expressed the strong commitment of the local government in accompanying businesses. Vinh Phuc province is committed to creating all favorable conditions for investors to produce and do business effectively in the province.
Vinh Phuc, with its strategic location in the Northern key economic region, is committed to transforming its economic structure towards high-tech industry. The successful investment of many FDI enterprises, such as Honda, Toyota and Piaggio, clearly testifies to the province’s investment appeal.

Vinh Phuc is ready to receive and implement high-tech investment models according to international standards, and is committed to creating the most favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms and policies to attract strategic investors.
Sharing about the business strategy, Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Vice Chairman of CNCTech Group, clearly affirmed the company's orientation in developing a high-tech industrial park model associated with research activities. Accordingly, CNCTech does not simply build traditional industrial parks but aims to create advanced and sustainable industrial ecosystems.
He emphasized the orientation of building creative spaces, where businesses can not only invest in production, but also be given maximum conditions to innovate, create and connect deeply with the global value chain.
This vision is completely in line with the trend of modern industrial development in the world, while contributing to improving Vietnam's competitiveness in attracting high-quality FDI capital flows.
ITRI demonstrates its commitment to comprehensive support for Vinh Phuc province and businesses in the province in developing high-tech industrial parks. Specifically, ITRI will provide technical support in planning, overall and detailed design from the provincial level to the industrial park. Additionally, leveraging its extensive and reputable network, ITRI will attract potential investors from Taiwan to Vietnam, particularly to Vinh Phuc province.
With ITRI's technology development experience, CNCTech’s strategic direction, and support from the Vinh Phuc provincial government, international-standard high-tech industrial parks are expected to soon take shape in Vietnam. This will contribute to the country’s industrialization and modernization and enhance its position on the global technology map.
