Khanh Hoa Province with Mountain and Sea Attractions

Arriving in Nha Trang by air or rail transport, tourists will be warmly welcomed to the land of famous tourist sites. After a breakfast, tourists will be taken to Yang Bay waterfall in Khanh Vinh district, a breathtaking waterfall in immense landscape and wilderness. The 600-metre high waterfall is regarded as the beginning of Cai River upstream. The flow is then divided into several streams with big and small lakes. To reach the top of the waterfall, tourists may climb up the mountain or wade through the lakes. Day 2, tourists may turn to a sea tour, visiting Da Chong beach and picturesque Nha Phu bay. After a smooth boat ride in light morning sun, visitors will reach Hon Thi islet watching African ostriches and wild deer roaming freely. The tour then continue to Hon Heo peninsula visiting beautiful Hoa Lan (Orchid) stream. The shape of the peninsula looks like a dinosaur with the head hidden in the mountain and the tail stretching to the sea. The water source from the mountain flows down to Hoa Lan stream and multiplies various kinds of wild orchids. At this point, tourists may try their strength and ability by climbing up Hon Heo mountain 700 metres high, Phong Lan cave with 452 steps up or rowing boat in Nghinh Xuan and Thuy Tien lakes. They may also have a sea bath and participate in such games as tug of war, rowing boat on sand, love football, beach volley ball, or “Matrix game” that is 6 kilometres long testing patience and imagination of tourists. The place was also a revolutionary base that may be interested to history researchers.

 

Leaving Hoa Lan stream, the boat will take tourists to Hon Lao island with the shape of a spear hitting the mainland called monkey island. Here, tourists will be in direct contact with some 1,000 monkeys and see circus performance of elephants, bears, monkeys and dogs. Since April 30, 2006, a mini auto race has given tourists the chance to participate in the exciting race. Tourists may also dive deep into the sea and watch colourful corals or visit Da Bac Island with bizarre rocks and caves, Cong Chua (Princess) beach, fishing, picking fruit and hiking on the island.

 

In the evening, tourists may stroll along Nha Trang coast on Tran Phu road with parks, restaurants, hotels and taste unique sea foods of the region.
