Saigon Securities Inc (SSI) is rated the biggest securities broker in the Hanoi Securities Trading Center in the first quarter 2007, with its brokerage market share accounting for 17 per cent of the total.
Bao Viet Securities Company (BVSC) ranked second with market share of 10.8 per cent, followed by Thang Long Securities Company with 7.8 per cent and Vietcombank Securities Company with 6.8 per cent.
Regarding stock dealing, BVSC is the number one trader with a market share of nearly 37 per cent, while SSI is the runner-up with 12 per cent.
As of April 10, Hanoi bourse has signed up 41 securities member companies.
In March alone, transaction value in the bourse reached VND7.3 trillion (US$456 million) on a trading volume of 65 million shares. (Labour)
