The 18th Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2008) will take place at the Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Center in Hanoi April 9, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) said at press briefing April 2 to introduce to the event.
More than 500 enterprises from Vietnam and 15 foreign countries, including Australia , Belgium , Cambodia , China , Cuba , Czech , Indonesia , Laos , Myanmar , Malaysia , Japan , Singapore , Switzerland and South Korea will attend the fair, said Nguyen Thanh Bien, Vice MoIT Minister.
Products from a range of industries like mechanics and machinery, electrics, electronics and telecommunications, garment and footwear, construction, transportation and cosmetics will be showcased at 700 booths.
The event, one of the national trade promotion program’s activities, will be a good opportunity for enterprises and trade promotion agencies to boost trade, said the ministry.
Many symposiums and business forums, especially Vietnam Export Promotion Forum in Post-WTO will be held during the five-day expo. (Local sources)
