WB to Lend Vietnam US$50M to Develop TertiaryEducation

The World Bank (WB) will lend Vietnam US$50 million to help the communist country develop the national tertiary education in the future.
 
WB and the State Bank of Vietnam inked an agreement on the funding on Aug 12, which has a 40-year maturity the Vietnamese government said on its website Nov 4.
 
The move aims to help Vietnam train qualified workforce for the national industrialization and modernization.
 
Vietnam now has 369 universities and colleges. (www.chinhphu.vn))
