Hanoi’s industrial production output in April is estimated to have expanded 13.5% on year to VND8.13 trillion, according to the city’s department of industry and trade.
In the month the foreign-invested sector saw its output jump 17.2% to VND3.7 trillion, the state-owned sector VND1.8 trillion, up 8.2% on-year; the non-state sector VND2.7 trillion, up 12.3% on-year.
Between Jan and April, the city’s industrial output has grown 12.3%, with the foreign-invested sector recording the highest growth of 15.3%, the department said, did not specify the exact value. (Economy & Urban)
