Coca-Cola Inaugurates Clean Water Facilities in Da Nang

On August 25, 2010, Coca-Cola held a ceremony inaugurating clean water facilities in residential zones in Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city.
 
The US$21,000 project will supply clean water for more than 2,400 students and teachers, and more than 300 households in Lien Chieu. Specifically, the drink producer supported installing water pipelines and water metres for poor households and schools, and other items like tanks and wash basins.
 
This work is under the second phase of the "Clean water for the community" project initiated by Coca-Cola in 2010. In the first phase, Coca-Cola helped bring clean water to more than 5,000 people in Thu Duc district, Ho Chi Minh City.
