The Hanoi People’s Committee has approved in principle the construction of a residential complex in Thuong Thanh ward, Long Bien district.
The 1,011-square metre complex, developed by BIC Vietnam Joint Stock Company, will give priority to public utilities and houses for low-income earners. As part of the project lies on Thuong Thanh cemetery, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and BIC Vietnam Joint Stock Company will negotiate with local people to reallocate tombs in the cemetery to other places.
