The Municipal People’s Committee of Hanoi requested authorized public agencies to apply digital signatures in administrative transactions. The regulation is applicable since September 15, 2011.
Forty-seven agencies have been provided digital signatures so far in the city.
Electric documents with digital signatures will be sent via the local electric mail system and have the same legal value like paper documents with red seals.
Digital signatures will be applied to legal documents, decisions, letters of invitation, plans, reports, official documents, copies of documents issued by the Municipal People’s Committee.
