Kon Tum province of Vietnam and Ratanakiri province of Cambodia just signed a memorandum of understanding on two-way economic and social cooperation in Kon Tum City.
The two provinces agreed to propose the governments of the two countries to open several border gates to support socioeconomic development. The two provinces will actively exchange information, introduce and create favourable conditions for enterprises to explore investment and business opportunities. They will also continue cooperation in language training (Vietnamese and Khmer) and human resource training programmes.
The two provinces continue directing border guards to build a peaceful borderline, protecting border regulations, and support border demarcation panel to complete their tasks.
