The Colours of Ly Dynasty-Home Handicraft Village Festival is scheduled to open from December 21 to 24, 2011 at the Den Do historical cultural relic site in Dinh Bang, Bac Ninh province.
The festival will be arranged in themes: The zone in honour of Vietnamese cottage industry villages, the area in display of old-time industries with 36 booths of fine-arts handicraft items, the zone for Hanoi Bac Ninh and northern region’s cottage industries, etc.
Notably, the Vietnam Handicraft Village Association will announce the “Vietnam Traditional Handicraft Village Year 2012” at its third National Congress (2012 - 2016 term) on this occasion.
This festival substantiates the long-lived vitality of Vietnamese cottage industry villages and continues the spirit of the 1,000th grand anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi.
