Remedying Pollution and Improving Environment in Hanoi

The People’s Committee of Hanoi City has sent the Document No. 707/UBND-TNMT to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and related units to carry out the national programme for pollution prevention and environmental improvement.

Accordingly, the People’s Committee assigned the Department to chair and coordinate with related units and localities to form a steering committee for this purpose; examine and assess the efficiency of implemented projects and tasks. The city will build models for treating pollution and improving environment in seriously polluted cottage industry villages and urban zones.
