The 9th Vietnam International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition and Conference (MTA Hanoi 2012) opened on March 28-30 to offer industrial professionals from local and foreign investment manufacturing enterprises exclusive opportunities to meet and network with over 100 exhibitors from 17 countries and territories.

Around 70 percent of the exhibitors came from overseas such as Singapore, Japan, China, Taiwan, and Germany, and presented the latest machine tools and technologies for Vietnamese manufacturers, with the brand names of Accuway, Big Daishowa, Carl Zeiss, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitutoyo, Nikon, Sandvik, and others. MTA Hanoi also brought greater visibility for Vietnam’s manufacturing capabilities with the participation of T.A.T Machinery, Apogee, Lasertech, and many more.

According to Mr Stephen Tan, Chief Executive of Singapore Exhibition Services, organizer of MTA Hanoi 2012, together with VCCI Exhibition Service Co, the trade event is timely, relevant, and complements the steady pace of growth of Vietnam’s manufacturing sector, giving international and local companies a tremendous boost by matching them with the latest products, solutions and technologies.

“The northern region of Vietnam has been attracting new investments and this will boost the manufacturing industry. The event enables us to network and extend our business with new and existing local and international partners,” says Mr Truong Quoc Tuan, CEO of T.A.T Machinery Corporation.
