US to Fund US$422,000 to Develop Hanoi Stock Exchange

The US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) will give Vietnam a US$422,000 grant to help the country expand the operation system of the Hanoi Securities Trading Center (HASTC), according to the US Embassy in Hanoi.

The agreement will be signed today [May 26] between the Charge d’ Affairs John Boardman of the US Embassy and Vu Bang, deputy chairman of the Vietnamese State Securities Commission.

The grant will be used to fund technical assistance to build a roadmap for the development of the HASTC.
