The Japanese Higashimaru Ltd. Co has just signed contract with Nhut Thanh Tan Ltd. Co to build a US$10 million aquatic feed factory for shrimp and catfish farming in southern Tien Giang province’s Tan Huong IZ.
The factory, covering 28,000 sq.m, will have total production capacity of 10,000 tons of products per year.
With a duration of 49 years, factory construction will be initiated in the first quarter this year.
The Than Huong IZ, established in early October 2006, is now completing its infrastructure facilities and calling for more investment from investors at home and abroad. (Vietnam & World Economy)
