Hanoi to Host Int'l Eco-products Fair in 2008

The Asian Productivity Organization, the Directorate for Standard and Quality (STAMEQ), the Vietnam Productivity Council, and the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment will jointly hold Vietnam’s first international eco-product fair in 2008 to improve consumers’ awareness of quality assurance and environment as well as community health protection.
 
The event entitled “Sustainable Development and Better Life”, to be held in My Dinh from March 1-4, will promote eco-products and services on environment protection and health improvement.
 
Pham Ngoc Tran, deputy director of the STAMEQ said it is very important for customers to know about eco-products, encouraging environmentally-friendly enterprises to make them in domestic and international market.
 
The fair, which will occupy 7,000 sq.m, is expected to attract the participation of 100 local and international organizations.
 
At the event, participants will have opportunities to share experience to enhance the competitiveness and boost sustainable development in Vietnam. (VNS)
