The one-hundred-year-old hotel Sofitel Metropole Hanoi has been continuously awarded “The Best Hotel in Hanoi in 2007” by the Asia Money’s readers, the leading monthly capital market magazine in Asia, the Thoi Bao Kinh Te newspaper reported.
With 53.42 per cent, Sofitel Metropole Hanoi was praised as the highest voted hotel (at individual cities) in comparison with Asia’s other 18 largest cities.
As the Best Hotel in Hanoi by ASIA Money, in 2007, Sofitel Metropole Hanoi was rated among the Best 500 Hotels in the World by readers of US magazines, Travel & Leisure and Condensate Traveler, Best Hotel in Hanoi by readers of Hong Kong magazine DestinAsian, and Best Leisure and Best Conference Hotel in Asia by Smart Travel Asia.
The hotel also received Best Business Hotel in Hanoi by readers of Hong Kong magazine Business Traveler Asia Pacific; Best Luxury, Tradition and Creativity in Hanoi by readers of Vietnam Economic Times magazine and Top Ten Hotels in Vietnam by the Association of Vietnam Tourism.
