Vietnam Firm Starts to Build US$30.3 Mln IP in Kien Giang

Phan Thi joint stock company has recently begun to construct the first industrial park at a total cost of VND500 billion (US$30.3 million) on 140 hectares of land in Vietnam’s southernmost province of Kien Giang.
 
The company is expected to complete construction of the IP in 2013, which will be a multi-sector zone with focus on agro, forestry, electronics, footwear, and construction materials.
 
Recently, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung attended the ground-breaking ceremony of construction of the Phu Quoc International Airport estimated to cost VND8 trillion in the first phase from 2008 to 2020.
