New Firm Lists Shares on Hanoi OTC Market

Ba Hien Viglacera Joint Stock Company listed its 900,000 BHV shares on the Hanoi securities trading centre (HASTC) on November 22, 2006. This is the third company of the Vietnam Glass and Ceramics for Construction Corp. (Viglacera) to list for trading at HASTC - the over-the-counter (OTC) market.

 

The predecessor of Ba Hien Viglacera was Ba Hien Brick Factory. Ba Hien Viglacera, which went public in 2003, specialised in manufacturing construction materials, trading machinery and spare parts, building and trading civil and industrial works, and trading petroleum products. The current chartered capital of the company was VND9 billion (US$562,500), including 51 per cent kept by the State, 8.38 per cent by its employees and 37.51 per cent by outside investors.
