Canon Photo Marathon Contest Opened in Hanoi

Canon organised the Canon Photo Marathon Contest for users of digital cameras on October 1, 2006. This is the first time the Canon Photo Marathon Contest is opened in Vietnam for participants to expose creativeness and arts of photography.

Participants will have chance to win prizes, totally valued some US$6,000. Especially, the winner of the all three themes will be presented the Canon EOS 400D camera designed professional photographers.

Apart from this event, Canon Vietnam also actively takes part in social, charity and sponsorship activities in Vietnam. On the occasion of this Mid-Autumn Festival, the company has co-sponsored the Full Moon Festival 2006 in Bac Ninh Province and presented gifts worth VND20 million (US$1,250) for poor children in the province.
