The Japanese Higashimaru Ltd. Co. and Vietnamese partner, Nhut Thanh Tan Ltd. Co, May 18 jointly kicked off construction of a US$20-million aquatic feed processing factory in Mekong Delta Tien Giang province.
Covering 28,000 square meters at Tan Huong Industrial Zone of Chau Thanh district, the factory is designed to have total processing capacity of 100,000 tons of products per year.
With a 49-year duration, the factory is expected to supply local shrimp and catfish farmers with high nutrition aquatic feed products.
Higashimaru Ltd. Co. is a Japanese leading manufacturer of fish feeds, instant noodles, dried noodles and broth, and the wholesale of dried noodles. The group is a contract manufacturer of instant noodles for Nissin Food Products Co. Ltd. (Vietnam Economic Times)
