Khanh Hoa Province's Infrastructure Meets Economic Demands

Traffic System
In the southern central region, Khanh Hoa province has on of the most developed traffic systems. The North-South railway links to the province, its major stop at Nha Trang railway station. Khanh Hoa has two airports, Nha Trang and Cam Ranh airports. Maritime ports, such as Ba Ngoi, Nha Trang, Hon Khoi Dam Mon provide for economic development.

From now to 2010 the province will complete some important roads, for example Nguyen Tat Thanh, Nha Trang-Da Lat and other roads connecting to Cam Ranh town, Truong Xa peninsula, the coastal road from Van Gia to Ning Tho-Ninh Hoa, Nha Trang-Sai Gon highway and the construction of Vinh Luong railway station in Nha Trang. The existing Nha Trang station will become passenger station, and Cam Ranh airport will be improved to international standard with the capacity to handle one million passengers in 2010 and two million in 2020. 
Electrical System
Electrical grid improvements, studies of clean power development (wind and geothermal) and extending electricity to rural areas have all been continuing. By 2010 the rural electricity network will be comprehensive. 100 percent communes will provide 90-95 percent of households with electricity from the national network. Communes located in islands cannot access the national power grid, therefore they should receive investment for small hydropower or wind energy projects. Some already have hydroelectric facilities, such as Eakrongru, Cho River and Trang River.
 
Water Irrigation and Supply System
Water supply wells and rainwater storage systems are being improved to supply 90 percent of residents access to clean water. Waste disposal and sewer systems are under construction, to limit polluted runoff in Nha Trang City and Cam Ranh town.
 
System of Communication
Khanh Hoa has a good telecommunication network, post offices from the major centres to small communes are equipped with modern technology, ensuring a good connection for local as well as global calls. The telephone rate is 1,161 per ten thousand residents, and full postal services, including EMS and DHL, will be provided even to rural and remote areas.
By 2010 average 100 people per 32-35 telephones or more. The rate of wave supply at mountainous area, coastal and island areas is 90 percent. The rate household having telephone is 80 percent and communes having internet is 80 percent and people using internet is 35 percent and the province make effort to obtain 100 percent of state-owned companies, party and political union from province to village, cities and network of training vocational school, colleges, universities in the local having completed LAN and internet connection.
 
System of services
At present there are twelve banks supporting capital demand of business activities for enterprises. Moreover the province has leasing finance company II under Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development. The bank is willing to lease finance for the local enterprises. Infrastructure and equipment are modern. Its network and office transaction appear across province. Financial services-banking and electronic payment models like fast money transaction, automated teller machine (ATM) are carried out rapidly, accurately and safely   by commercial bank system.
