Keangnam Vina Company under South Korea’s Keangnam Group will kick off construction of a US$1.05 billion property project August 25, in Hanoi, according to Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI).
The firm will pour US$500 million into the project’s first phase to build the 70-storey Hanoi Landmark Tower and a high-end 47-storey apartment.
Once completed, the Hanoi Landmark Tower will become the highest building in Vietnam and operate as a luxurious five-star hotel.
While the 47-storey apartment will accommodate offices, houses, shopping malls, convention centers, health bases and some others.
The works, located in Pham Hung Street, Cau Giay District, is slated to become operation in 2010, the MPI said, adding that the second phase of the project has not made available at the moment. (Pioneer, Vietnam Economic Times)
