Stakeholder Consultation Meeting o Establishment of Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD)

VCCI on February 24 will open the stakeholder consultation meeting on the establishment of Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), an initiative that is being jointly developed by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and Netherlands Development Organization (SNV).

 

As a business-led initiative, it is envisaged that the establishment of VBCSD will make a great contribution to raising the voice and profile of the Vietnam business community and to the sustainable development of both the business sector and the country as a whole.

 

The meeting aims to provide feedback on the proposed structure and priority activities of the VBCSD. Participants will include CEOs of founding members and interested companies, representatives from ministries, international organizations, and NGOs.
