Central highlands Dak Lak province, the biggest coffee growing area in Vietnam, has raked in more than US$530 million from exporting 349,220 tons of coffee in 2009.
The export volume rose 13.3% from a year earlier, the newspaper reported, but did not give on-year value comparison.
The coffee trade, import and export in Dak Lak province are now carried out by big companies like Tay Nguyen Coffee Im-Export Co., 2/9 One-member Co. Ltd and Duc Nguyen Im-Export Co. (Banking Times)
