Vietnam’s central highlands province of Dac Lak will earn US$10 million from exporting 5,500 tons of bee honey this year, according to the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Bee honey products of Dak Lak have been mostly shipped to U.S., Japan, and South Korea, the department said.
The province has raised 190,000 flocks of bees with an estimated honey output of 7,000 tons, accounting for more than half of the total honey output in Vietnam, it added.
With high honey output, Dak Lak province has maintained its top position in honey production nationwide for the 10th consecutive year. (Labor)
