Quang Ninh Issues Regulation on Re-export Management

The governing People’s Committee of Quang Ninh province has recently issued Decision 616/2012/QD-UBND dated March 19, 2012 to promulgate the Regulation on Re-export management. This ruling is applied to goods banned or suspended from export, or banned or suspended from import, through Quang Ninh Border Gate Economic Zones.

 

The province requests traders to clear customs procedures at assigned re-export border gates and re-export goods through customs clearance depots in the border gate economic zone. The Department of Industry and Trade is responsible for confirming re-export registration documents.

 

Goods banned from export or suspended from export, banned from import or suspended from import are governed by Government Decree 12/2006/ND-CP dated January 23, 2006.

 

Apart from order gates assigned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the province also allows customs clearance at following border gates in economic zones: Ka Long (Mong Cai Border Gate Economic Zone), Hoanh Mo (Hoanh Mo - Dong Van Border Gate Economic Zone) and Bac Phong Sinh (Bac Phong Sinh Border Gate Economic Zone).
