The Tokyo Stock Exchange Group (TSE Group) and the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) have recently signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation (MOU) to further develop collaborative bonds between the two exchanges.

This agreement will promote cooperation in the area of information technology, such as trading systems, through the exchange of IT personnel and information, thereby providing a better investment environment to the investors in both Japan and Vietnam.

Mr Atsushi Saito, President and CEO of TSE Group, said: “IT strategy, particularly in relation to trading systems, has become essential to the development of a securities exchange. TSE launched our new trading system, Arrowhead, at the beginning of this year and has been receiving high praise from market participants. We hope to share our experience and knowledge of IT to support the development of the Hanoi Stock Exchange and invigorate the capital markets of both Japan and Vietnam. The signing of this MOU is a significant step toward realising that goal.”
