Sacombank Lam Dong- Active Force in Local Economic Development

After more than five years of operation, Sacombank Lam Dong - a branch of Ho Chi Minh City-based Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) - made remarkable progress and actively contributed to the development of Sacombank in particular and the economic development of Lam Dong province in general.

To date, Sacombank Lam Dong mobilised VND1,468 billion and lent VND1,039 billion. The branch has a stable customer base thanks to the ability to cross-sell products, professional service, quick and simple lending and borrowing procedures. These elements are very important to win the trust of Vietnamese customers.

By the end of 2011, the branch expects deposits (converted to Vietnamese dong) to reach VND1,585 billion and total outstanding loans at VND1,462 billion. Like other branches, Sacombank Lam Dong provides a wide range of banking and financial services, including deposits in VND, USD and gold; lending, money transfer, international payment, guarantee, factoring, payroll settlement, ATM service, gold trading, foreign exchange, remittance payment, and other financial services.

Currently, Sacombank Lam Dong consists of a branch office and six transaction offices in important places in the province like Da Lat City, Bao Loc City, Duc Trong District, and Lam Ha District. The 6-storey 3,600-square metre branch headquarters, which costs nearly VND40 billion for construction, is located in a densely populated area where there are a lot of companies and agencies. With a diverse product - service system, and a young, dynamic, professional workforce, Sacombank Lam Dong is capable of meeting all demand from corporate and institutional customers.
